Michael Stanton-Hicks, M.B., B.S., Dr. med., F.R.C.A., A.B.P.M., F.I.P.P., is Vice Chairman of the Anesthesia Institute in the Department of Pain Management and Research at Cleveland Clinic. He is a Professor at Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, and consulting staff in Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation, Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital. A founding member and past president of the North American Neuromodulation Society, he serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Association and the Board of the World Institute of Pain. His specialty interests are pain medicine, RSD (CRPS), and regional anesthesia. Dr. Stanton-Hicks is also interested in the design and development of technical equipment related to implantation of medical devices.
