3.

4.

S. M.

To God, the Father, Son,
And Spirit, glory be!

As 'twas, and is, and shall be so
To all eternity.

8. 8. 6.

To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
The God whom heaven's triumphant host
And the whole church adore,

5.

6.

Be glory, as in ages past,

As now it is, and so shall last,
When time shall be no more.

6666. 4444.

To God, the Father, Son,
And Spirit ever blest,
Eternal three in one,
All worship be addrest:
As heretofore

It was, is now,
And shall be so
For evermore.

L. M. double.

Eternal Father, throned above,
Thou fountain of redeeming love;

7.

8.

Eternal Son, who left thy throne,
For man's rebellion to atone ;
Eternal Spirit, who dost give
That grace whereby our spirits live;
Thou God of our salvation, be
Eternal praises paid to thee!

7s.

Blessing, honour, glory, might,
And dominion infinite,

To the Father of our Lord,
To the Spirit and the Word;-
As it was all worlds before,
Is, and shall be evermore.

6666. 88.

1 Father, creation's voice,
Untiring, speaks thy praise:
Thine is the sovereign choice
Which each event obeys:

Of love art thou the shoreless sea:
Thine, universal homage be!

2 Great Son of peerless might,
In man's low fashion found,
Our pardoned souls delight
Thy blessed name to sound:
To thee, let every tongue and tribe
Salvation's glorious work ascribe!

3 Spirit of God, divine,

Whose influence, softly shed,
Controlling, and benign,

Doth raise to life the dead;

From whom the world regenerate springs;-
The church to thee glad tribute brings!
4 Thus, humbly we receive
The truth thy word reveals;
A triune God believe,

Whom glorious light conceals:
To thee all love, all praise, is due;
One, only, living God, and true.

[blocks in formation]

1 Father of all! to thee

Let endless praises rise,

Who for such rebel worms as we

Salvation didst devise.

2 Incarnate Deity!

Let all the ransomed race

Render in thanks their lives to thee

For thy redeeming grace.

3 Spirit of holiness!

O let us all adore

Thy sacred energy, and bless
Thine heart-renewing power.

4 Baptized into thy name,
Almighty one in three,

1.

Thy grace and goodness we'll proclaim
Through all eternity.

DISMISSION.

Heb. xiii. 20, 21.

1 Now may he who, from the dead
Brought the Shepherd of the sheep,
Jesus Christ, our King and Head,
All our souls in safety keep!
2 May he teach us to fulfil
What is pleasing in his sight;
Perfect us in all his will,

And preserve us day and night!
3 To that dear Redeemer's praise,
Who the cov'nant sealed with blood,
Let our hearts and voices raise
Loud thanksgivings to our God.

8.7.

May the grace of Christ our Saviour,
And the Father's boundless love,
With the Holy Spirit's favour,

Rest upon us from above!

Thus may we abide in union
With each other and the Lord;
And possess, in sweet communion,
Joys which earth cannot afford.
