LEGALIZING THE RECORD OF CERTAIN DEEDS.

AN ACT to legalize the record of certain deeds and conveyances in Lee county, and to provide for the recording at Fort Madison, of all such instruments affecting lands in those parts of T. 67, N. R. 4, W., and the E. † of T. 67, N. R. 5, W., which are upon the Half Breed Tract.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa, That the record of all deeds, couveyances, mortgages, and all other instruments of writing required under the law to be recorded, and which have been heretofore recorded in the Recorder's office at Fort Madison, affecting real estate upon those portions of the Half Breed Tract in Lee county which Concerning are in T. 67, N. AN ACT providing for the completion of the Geological Survey of the State of Iowa.

D. 1863, certain moneys were consumed, and that the sum aforesaid is the pro rata amount due to the fund above mentioned.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the State Register and Iowa Homestead, papers published at Des Moines, Iowa.
