His Lordship was created Baron of Hatly St. George, on the 19th of April 1763, and married ChrisElizabeth daughter of topher Dominick, Esq; by whom he had issue one son and a daugh ter, the former of whom died in December 1765.

10. Major-General Laurence, in Bruton-street. He was the first officer who introduced military discipline into India, where for 20 years he commanded the Company's troops.
