NUMBER ONE, SAINT PAUL'S CHURCHYARD, which is in the very centre of England's metropolis, and a position more easily identifica than any in LONDON.

Special Notice.-In order more effectually to place within the reach of those resident in the country the same advantages in the purchasing of Teas, Coffees, &c., as those possessed by the London Consumers, DAKIN & COMPANY have resolved on appointing AGENTS IN EVERY TOWN IN ENGLAND, for the sale of their superior Teas and Coffees, the excellences of which are alread too well known for them to require any eulogium here. Communications from parties wishing. to take up the agency will receive prompt attention, and as DAKIN & COMPANY contemplate effecting the necessary arrangements without delay, they would suggest an early application. AGENTS WANTED.

THE
HE NEW TOOTH BRUSH, made on the most scientific prin-

ciple, thoroughly cleaning between the teeth, when used up and down, and polishing the surface when used crossways. This brush so entirely enters between the closest teeth, that the inventors have decided upon naming it the Toothpick Brush, therefore ask for it under that name, marked and numbered as under-viz., full sized Brushes, marked T.P.W., No. 1 hard. No. 2 less hard, No. 3 middling, No. 4 soft; the narrow brushes, marked T. P. N., No. 5 hard, No. 6 less hard, No. 7 middling, No. 8 soft. These inimitable brushes are only to be had at ROSS and SONS', and they warrant the hair never to come out, at 1s. each, or 10s. per dozen in bone, and 2s. each, or 21s. per dozen in Ivory.

THE ATRAPILATORY, or LIQUID HAIR DYE; the only dye that really answers for all colours, and does not require re-doing but as the hair grows, as it never fades or acquires that unnatural red or purple tint common to all other dyes. ROSS and SONS can with the greatest confidence recommend the above dyes as infallible, if done at their Establishment; and the ladies and gentlemen requiring it are requested to bring a friend or servant with them to see how it is used, which will enable them to do it afterwards without the chance of failure. Several private apartments devoted entirely to the above purpose, and some of their establishment having used it, the effect produced can be at once seen. They think it necessary to add, that by attending strictly to the instructions given with each bottle of dye, numerous persons have succeeded equally well without coming to them.

Address ROSS & SONS, 119 and 120, Bishopsgate-street, London, the celebrated Perruquiers and Perfumers, Hair-cutters, and Hair-dyers. N.B.-Parties attended at their own residences, whatever the distance.

an order for six of the largest pots of Holloway's Ointment, from no less a personage than his Royal Highness the Rajah or reigning Sovereign of Travancore, through the eminent firm of Messrs. J. Cockburn and Co., East India merchants, No. 11, New Broadstreet, London. The ointment, it appears, is for the personal use of the Rajah, and will be employed under the superintendence of his private physician. Holloway's Ointment is sold all over India, being a certain cure for ulcers, wounds, sores, and abscesses, even if of twenty years' standing; and may be obtained of the Proprietor, 244, Strand, London, and of every medicine-vendor.

remedy for wounds of every description, a certain cure for ulcerated sore legs, if of twenty years' standing, cuts, burns, scalds, bruises, chilblains, scorbutic eruptions and pimples in the face, sore and inflamed eyes, sore heads, cancerous humours, &c., and is a specific for those afflicting eruptions that sometimes follow vaccination. Also, his PILULÆ ANTISCROPHULÆ, confirmed by more than forty years' experience to be, without exception, one of the best alterative medicines ever compounded for purifying the blood and assisting Nature in all her operations; hence they are useful in scrofula, scorbutic complaints, glandular swellings, particularly those of the neck, &c. They are efficacious also in rheumatism, and form a mild and superior family aperient, that may be taken at all times without confinement or change of diet. Sold in boxes, at 1s. 1 d., 2s. 9d., 4s. 6d., 11s., and 228. each.

To those who cannot take pills, the proprietors would strongly recommend Dr. ROBERTS'S ANTISCORBUTIC DROPS, for the cure of the scurvy, scrofula, leprosy, and all scorbutic complaints; they strengthen the constitution, purify the blood, and promote a circulation of the fluids; are gentle in their operation, and do not require cessation from business. In bottles, at 28, 9d. each.

By the late Dr. Roberts's will, Messrs. Beach and Barnicott (who have been confidently entrusted with the preparation of his medicine for many years past) are left joint proprietors of the "Poor Man's Friend," "Pilulæ Antiscrophulæ," "Larwell's Pills," and Medicated Gingerbread-nuts," and "Antiscorbutic Drops," with the exclusive right, power, and authority to prepare and vend the same.

The still-increasing demand for the above medicines, from all ranks, is the best and most substantial proof of their utility.

PURITY OF COMPLEXION!

ROWLAND'S KALYDOR,

A BOTANICAL PREPARATION from Balsamic Exotics; for, whether resorted to in its specific character as a thorough purifier of existing defects of an eruptive nature and discolorations of the Skin, or as a benign PRESERVER and a PROMOTER of its already bright and glowing tints, this ELEGANT TOILET REQUISITE has, in every instance, maintained its claim to the title of "THE UNFAILING AUXILIARY OF FEMALE GRACE."

During SUMMER and AUTUMN, which are peculiarly the seasons of FASHIONABLE MOVEMENTS, the invigorating and refreshing properties of ROWLAND'S KALYDOR will be found singularly agreeable to LADIES TRAVELLING.

The effects produced by temporary EXPOSURE TO SOLAR HEAT, upon the FACE, NECK, ARMS, and HANDS, being neutralized, and the cloud induced by relaxation and languor dispelled by its power of sustaining a perfect elasticity of the skin, without which, certain deterioration takes place. Thus, in the usual periodical visits made to the coast, RowLAND'S KALYDOR is indispensable as a preservative after SEA BATHING, from the irritation caused by the chemical action of saline vapour.

Its purifying and refreshing properties have obtained its exclusive selection by the Court and the ROYAL FAMILY of Great Britain, and those of the Continent of Europe, together with the élite of the Aristocracy and Haut Volee, from the sultry climes of India, and the Drawing Rooms of Calcutta and Madras, to the frozen realms of the Czar and the SALONS of St. Petersburgh and Moscow.

This EXOTIC PREPARATION in every case promotes a healthy tone of the minute vessels, and is the most elegant as well as effective Toilet Appendage hitherto submitted to universal Patronage.
