Plead thou my cause, &c. The Collect. RANT, we beseech thee, Al Gmighty God, that we who through our infirmity so often fail in time of difficulty, may be endowed with new vigour through the interceding Passion of thy Son, who with thee, &c. A If no commemoration is to be made, then one of the two following Collects is to be said. Collect for the Departed may be interposed if necessary. Second Collect: Either (a) or (b). (a) For the Church. E beseech thee, O Lord, graciously hear the prayers of thy Church, that being freed from danger without, and purged from error within, she may serve thee in security and freedom.
