AN ACT to make appropriations for the Michigan state board of examiners of optometry for the fiscal years ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-four, and June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-five, for maintenance, operation and other purposes.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the general purposes. fund for the Michigan state board of examiners of optometry for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-four, the sum of three thousand three hundred dollars, and for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-five, the sum of three thousand two hundred dollars, for the purposes and in the specific amounts as follows:

Each of said amounts shall be used solely for the specific purposes herein stated, subject to the general supervisory control of the state administrative board: Provided, That in no case shall the expenditures of said board exceed the fees collected by it.

SEC. 2. The amounts hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the state treasury at such times and in such manner as is or may be provided by law.

SEC. 3. All fees or other moneys received by said Michigan state board of examiners in optometry shall be forwarded to the state treasurer each month and shall be by said treasurer deposited in the state treasury to be disbursed in such manner and for such purposes as may be provided by law. This act is ordered to take immediate effect. Approved May 10, 1923.

AN ACT to make appropriations for the legislature for the fiscal years ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twentythree, June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-four, and June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-five, for maintenance, operation and other specific purposes.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the general Legislative fund of the state treasury, to defray the expenses of the appropriation. legislature for personal services of members, officers and employes, and for maintenance, operation and supplies, for the year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-three, and the biennial period ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-five, the sum of three hundred thousand dollars: Pro- Proviso. vided, That one hundred thousand dollars of said appropriation shall be available during the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-three, and the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-four, and two hundred thousand dollars, together with any unexpended balance for previous years, shall be available during the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-five.

SEC. 2. SEC. 3. The auditor general shall incorporate in the state tax for the year nineteen hundred twenty-three, the sum of one hundred thousand dollars, and for the year nineteen hundred twenty-four, the sum of two hundred thousand dollars, which sums, when collected, shall be credited to the general fund to reimburse the same for the money hereby appropriated. SEC. 4. Any unexpended balance at the end of the fiscal year nineteen hundred twenty-five shall revert to the general fund in the state treasury.

This act is ordered to take immediate effect.

AN ACT to make appropriations for the Ionia state hospital for the fiscal years ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-four, and June thirty, nineteen hundred twentyfive, for maintenance, operation and other purposes.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the general fund for the Ionia state hospital for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-four, the sum of two hundred six thousand six hundred fifty dollars, and for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-five, the sum of one hundred ninety-three thousand three hundred eighty-seven dollars, for the purposes and in the specific amounts as follows:

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1.
