The World Comes to Iowa: Iowa International Anthology

This unique anthology of letters, poems, articles, and stories by participants from around the world celebrates the 20th anniversary of the International Writing Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa. This program brings to Iowa, writers not only of many languages and countries, but also of the newest forms of the literary imagination. In its 20 years it has introduced more than 650 international writers to each other, the Midwest, and America. These writers live in Iowa city from September through November, attending seminars and touring the Midwest.
