A message was received from the House of Representatives transmitting Providing for assistance in the Legislative Reference Department. The message informed the Senate that the House of Representatives had adopted the concurrent resolution. The resolution was referred to the Secretary for record. A message was received from the House of Representatives transmitting A concurrent resolution providing for adjournment for more than three days. The message informed the Senate that the House of Representatives had amended the resolution by striking out the words "Tuesday, January 30, at 4:00 o'clock p. m.", and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Monday, January 29, at 8:00 o'clock p. m." The question being on concurring in the amendment made to the resolution by the House, The Senate non-concurred in the amendment. Mr. Truettner asked and was granted leave of absence until Wednesday, January 31. A message was received from the House of Representatives re-transmitting Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That when the Legislature adjourns on Thursday, January 25, it stand adjourned until Tuesday, January 30, at 4:00 o'clock p. m. The message informed the Senate that the House of Representatives had receded from its amendment and had adopted the resolution. The resolution was referred to the Secretary for record.
