WAKE, thou that sleepest, and arise from
the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.2 Ephes. v. 14.
I laid me down and slept, and rose up again, for the Lord sustained me.—Ps. iii. 5.
Olet me hear Thy loving-kindness betimes in the morning, for in Thee is my trust: shew Thou me the way that I should walk in, for I lift up my soul unto Thee.—Ps. cxliii. 8.
ALMIGHTY God, Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, Maker of all things, Judge of all men, we acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickednesses, which we from time to time most grievously have committed by thought, word, and deed, against Thy divine majesty, provoking most justly Thy wrath and indignation against us; we do earnestly repent and are heartily sorry for these our misdoings; the remembrance of them is grievous unto us, the burthen of them is intolerable; have mercy upon us, have mercy upon us, most inerciful Father; for Thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ's sake, forgive us all that is past, and grant that we may ever hereafter serve and please Thee in newness of life, to the honour and glory of Thy name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
ALMIGHTY God, our Heavenly Father, who of 01 Thy great mercy hast promised forgiveness of sins to all them that with hearty repentance and true faith turn unto Thee; have mercy upon us, pardon and deliver us from all our sins, confirm and strengthen us in all goodness, and bring us to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
UR Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be
Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation ; but deliver us from evil: for Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
