CAP. XXXII.

An Act to amend 41 Vlc., Cap. 34.

[Assented to 25th June, 1879.]

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Mani toba, enacts as follows:

I. After the word within in the sixth line of the first section of Cap. 34, 41 Vic., all the words to the word "wherein " in the seventh line be struck out and the words "the county" be substituted, and the words "Registrar or Deputy Registrar " be substituted for the word person in the seventh line, and the words "two dollars and one dollar" be substituted for the words "one dollar and fifty cents" in the ninth and tenth lines.

An Act to further amend Cap. 37, 34 Vic.

[Assented to 25th June, 1879.]

HER MAJESTY by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

I. Section four of Cap. 37, 34 Vic. intituled: Act to cap. 87 21 Vic. incorporate the Roman Catholic Bishop (Archbishop amended. Vic. 35, Cap. 27, Section 2.) of St. Boniface, is hereby

amended and shall read as follows:

It shall be lawful for any perser, or number of per- As follows: sons to whom, or in whose name, or names, lands, tenements, hereditary property, are now, or may hereafter devolve in trust, for the use and support of the Roman Catholic Church, as for the trustees appointed by vir tue of a certain Indenture dated tue nineteenth day of May, in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, made and executed by the Right Honorable Thomas Earl of Selkirk, to cede, sell, or iransfer, from time to time by Deed, under his or their Signature, or by the ordinary form of law, al, or any of the said lands and tenements to "La Corporation Archie-Episcopale Catholique Romaine de St. Boniface."

(a). It shall be lawful for the above named Trustees, to transfer to the Crown the sad above mentioned lands, in order, or for the purpose of having the same or their equivalent in extent, or part of the same, duly patented to ie said above named Corporation.

(b). It shall be lawful for the said Corporation tohoid, lease, sell, or transfer the saiu lends, or any per tion of them.

(c). All conveyances, or deeds of sale, of the said before mentioned lands, which may have beretofore ben made by the said Corporation, are hereby confirmed.

II. This Act shall be deemed a public Act.
