For the living trees are very good to us. They give us shade. They give us better air. They bring the rain. They break the force of the storms. Still we must have the dead trees too. We need them for lumber, for fuel, and for manufacturing. What can we do about it? We can plant new trees. Our wise country knows this. So she asks us to join her in planting trees on Arbor Day.
