House bill entitled an act to authorize the board of supervisors of Page county to appropriate and use certain surplus funds now in the hands of the treasurer of said county and to come into. his hands from the levy to be made for the year 1894, No. 34.

House bill entitled an act to amend and re-enact sections 3 and 7 of an act entitled an act to incorporate the Empire transportation company, No. 54.

House bill entitled an act to amend sections 862, relating to certain duties of county and city treasurers, and 865 of the Code, relating to suits against treasurers, No. 82.

They have passed, with a substitute, House bill entitled an act to distribute the road tax arising from Citizens bank of Carroll among the several magisterial districts of Carroll county, No. 5. They have passed Senate bill entitled an act to incorporate the Bridgewater construction company, No. 12.

Senate bill entitled an act to authorize the superintendent of the Virginia penitentiary to lease or purchase a farm and to erect

thereon suitable buildings for the care and employment of convicts, No. 45.

Senate bill entitled an act to protect sheep and other stock in the counties of Accomac and Northampton, No. 100.

Senate bill entitled an act for the relief of J. R. Peebles, treasurer of Nelson county, No. 84.
