A white crystalline solid usually in flakes.

Yellow.

Strong oxidizing agent. Decomposed by heat evolving oxygen, and will burst containers.

Reacts violently with acids. Mixed with organic material or finely divided metals it is dangerously ignitible and may be ignited by friction or may cause spontaneous ignition of such material.

Do not stow with charcoal, sulfur, sugar, flour and similar finely divided substances.

Do not stow in same compartment with explosives, combustible materials, inflammable liquids (red label), or acids (white label).

Do not overstow.
Keep cool and dry.
