THERE are already so many Manuals for Family Prayer, that at first it might seem an almost needless work to add to their number. And yet, amongst all those that I have carefully examined, I have found none, in my judgment, so entirely satisfactory as to preclude the hope of improvement in this most important part of the home life of a Christian family.
