HEREAS it is deemed expedient to W extend the time granted to The Barbados Water Supply Company, Limited, for completing their works: Be it enacted by the Governor, Council, and Assembly of this Island, and by the authority of the same as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as "The Water Supply Company Act, 1886, Amendment Act, 1892." Short title. Extension of time works. 2. The time fixed for the completion of the works of the said company is hereby ex- for completion of tended from the thirty-first day of December one thousand eight hundred and ninetytwo, to the thirty-first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three. WE HEREAS the sum of money granted out of the public treasury by "The Appropriation Act, 1891, for the service of the year mentioned, has proved insufficient to meet the demands of such service; And Whereas certain resolutions were passed during the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety one, granting additional sums out of the public treasury, and it is deemed expedient to appropriate the same in the manner hereinafter mentioned; Be it therefore enacted by the Governor, Council and Assembly of this Island, and by the authority. of the same, as follows; 1. This Act may be cited for all purposes as "The Supplementary Appropriation Act, 1891." Short title Grant of £12,478 2. The Colonial Treasurer may issue out of the public treasury on the warrant of the 0. 10. out of the Governor-in-Executive Committee, and apply public treasury. for making good the supply granted for the service of the year ending on the thirtyfirst day of December one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, the sum of twelve thousand four hundred and seventy-eight pounds and ten pence. Date on which grant deemed to take effect. Appropriation of sum grated. Schedule to be 3. The sum granted by this Act shall be deemed to have been granted on the first day of January one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, in addition to the sum granted by The Appropriation Act, 1891. 4. The sum granted by this Act out of the public treasury for making good the supply granted for the purpose aforesaid is appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated, as from the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, for the purposes and services expressed in the schedule annexed hereto. 5. The schedule annexed hereto shall be deemed part of Act deemed to be part of this Act, in the same manner as if it had been contained in the body of the Act. SCHEDULE.
