Senate bill No. 496, entitled

A bill to validate certain acts and transactions of St. Stephens church, a religious corporation and society located in the City of Adrian; Respectfully report that they have had the same under consideration, and have directed me to report the bill back to the Senate with the accompanying substitute therefor, entitled

A bill declaring St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran church of the City of Adrian, Michigan, incorporated April 5, 1901, the corporate successor of a similar corporation of the same name incorporated about 36 years ago, and validating all acts of the officers of the old corporation, and transferring its property to the said new corporation;

Recommending that the substitute be concurred in and that the bill, as substituted, do pass, and ask to be discharged from the further consideration of the subject.

Respectfully report that they have had the same under consideration, and have directed me to report the bill back to the Senate with the accompanying substitute therefor, entitled

A bill making appropriations for the State House of Correction and Branch Prison, Upper Peninsula, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1902, and to provide for a tax to meet the same;

Recommending that the substitute be concurred in and that the bill, as substituted, do pass, and ask to be discharged from the further consideration of the subject.
