A bill to authorize the boards of supervisors of the several counties in this State to borrow money, and issue bonds therefor, for the purchase of land to be used for the purpose of holding thereon fairs and exhibitions of an agricultural character;

Was read a third time and pending the taking of the vote on the passage thereof,

A bill to provide for the manner of posting official notices in townships, and for the erection and maintaining by townships of bill boards to be used for the posting thereon of such notices;

A bill making appropriations for the Northern Michigan Asylum for the Insane for building and special purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1912;

With the following amendments thereto:

1. By striking out of line 1 of section 1 the words "Seventy thousand seven hundred fifty dollars," and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Fifty-six thousand and fifty dollars."

2. By striking out of lines 4 and 5 of section 1 the words "For carpenter and paint shop, five hundred thousand and five hundred dollars." 3. By striking out of line 6 of section 1 the words "For fencing, three thousand five hundred dollars."

4. By striking out of lines 7 and 8 of section 1 the words "For roofing cottages twenty-eight and thirty-two, two thousand one hundred dollars." 5. By striking out of line 9 of section 1 the words "One thousand five hundred fifty dollars," and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Two thousand and fifty dollars."

6. By striking out of lines 9 and 10 of section 1 the words "For repairs to roofs and gutters, three thousand five hundred dollars."

7. By striking out of lines 12 and 13 of section 1 the words "For porch for cottage thirty-two, six hundred dollars."

8. By striking out of lines 8 and 9 of section 2 the words "Seventy thousand seven hundred fifty dollars," and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Fifty-six thousand and fifty dollars."

9. By striking out of line 2 of section 4 the words "Seventy thousand seven hundred fifty dollars," and inserting in lieu thereof the words "Fifty-six thousand and fifty dollars."

Recommend that the amendments be concurred in, and that when so amended the bill pass.
