SECRETARIES.-Jno. L. Scott, Jr., J. L. Early wine, Edw. C. Linney.

This board is composed of one member from each of the old Appellate Districts appointed by the Governor. The auditor is an ex officio member of the board, but receives no additional compensation. Term of office, two years; salary, $5 per day and mileage. Employs three secretaries at $5 per day.

Elected by the Legislature of 1898, for terms of two, four and six years, respectively. Court of Appeals held six-year term unconstitutional.

Salary of each commissioner, $5.00 per day, while sitting, and not to exceed $100 a year.

The three State Commissioners are elected by the Legislature for a term of four years.

The State Board annually appoints three commissioners in each county in the State, and the County Commissioners appoint precinct election officers.

The court is divided into two divisions, each one con-
sisting of three judges, beside the Chief Justice. Chief
Justice Hazelrigg, and Judges Burnam, Paynter and
Hobson comprise the eastern division, and Chief Justice
Hazelrigg and Judges DuRelle. White and Guffy com-
prise the western division. The two divisions sit al-
ternately every day, except Monday.)
