Yet proudly ran he on ten winters more:
Till like a clock worn out with eating time,
The wheels of weary life at last stood still.-Dryden.

NOTE.-In 63," Day of judgment" is a proper noun; it is nom-
inative case in the predicate after "may be." "Only" may be
considered an adjective belonging to "duty" and "command."
"Be it so or not" is considered an attendant element by some
authors.
""
"So and "so may be considered predicate adjec-

"with," it is nearly obsolete. In 65, (old edition,) "Heaven (be-
ing) in fault" is an abridged proposition, modifying "imperfect."
"Heaven" is in the absolute case with "(being)." "In fault" is a predicate phrase, equals "faulty." In 71, "hip" and "thigh may be con-
sidered nouns in apposition with "Ammon." "On Arnon" is a second class adjective element; it belongs to "Aroer." "Unto Minnith

NOTE.--"As" is a subordinate introductory conjunction; it introduces the predicate noun "agent" as the attribute of the proposition. If agent is put in apposition with "he," "as" is an index of apposition.
