A bill to amend section 4 of Act No. 236, Public Acts of 1915, the same being "An act to protect fish in the inland waters of this State and to regulate the manner of faking, possession, transportation, size and sale of fish when taken from said waters; to provide penalties for the violation of this act and to repeal all acts and parts of acts conflicting therewith,"

Was read a third time and, the question being on its passage,

Mr. Petermann moved to amend the bill

By inserting in line 6 of section 1 after the word "therewith" the words "being section 7657 of the Compiled Laws of 1915."

The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted, a majority of all of the members-elect voting therefor.

Mr. Glaspie moved to amend the bill

1. By striking out of line 3 of section 4 the words "large and."

2. By striking out of line 4 of section 4 the words "and wall-eyed pike."

3. By inserting in line 5 of section 4 after the word "thereafter" the words "and any large mouth black bass from and after the first day of March of each year up to and including the fifteenth day of June thereafter."

The motion prevailed and the amendments were adopted, a majority of all the members-elect voting therefor.

Mr. Crawford moved to amend the bill

By striking out of line 5 of section 4 the words "the first day of July” and inserting in lieu thereof the words "June 20."

The motion did not prevail and the amendment was not adopted, a majority of all the members-elect not voting therefor.

The bill was then passed, a majority of all the members-elect voting therefor, by yeas and nays, as follows:

The question being on agreeing to the title of the bill,

Mr. Petermann moved to amend the title so as to read as follows: A bill to amend section 4 of Act No. 236, Public Acts of 1915, the same being "An act to protect fish in the inland waters of this State and to regulate the manner of taking, possession, transportation, size and sale of fish when taken from said waters, to provide penalties for the violation of this act, and to repeal all acts and parts of acts conflicting therewith," being section 7657 of the Compiled Laws of 1915. The motion prevailed.

The House agreed to the title of the bill as amended.

A bill to regulate the taking and catching of certain kinds of fish during certain seasons of the year in certain streams and rivers of this State,

Was read a third time, and the question being on its passage,

Mr. Kistler moved to amend the bill

By inserting in line 3 of section 4 after the word "license" the words "with spear or jack."

The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted, a majority of all the members-elect voting therefor.

A bill to amend Act No. 7 of the Public Acts, Second Special Session, of 1912, entitled “An act to provide for the erection of armories, and making appropriation therefor," as amended by Act No. 98 of the Public Acts of 1915, by adding a new section thereto to stand as section 5, Was read a third time and, the question being on its passage, Mr. Petermann moved to amend the bill

By striking out of lines 3, 4 and 5 of section 1 the words "as amended by Act No. 98 of the Public Acts of 1915" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "being sections 979 to 982, both inclusive, of the Compiled Laws of 1915."

The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted, a majority of all the members-elect voting therefor.

The motion prevailed.

The House agreed to the title of the bill as amended.

Mr. Lewis moved that the bill be ordered to take immediate effect. The motion prevailed, two-thirds of all the members-elect voting therefor.

A bill to amend sections 3 and 4 of chapter 7 of Act No. 254 of the Public Acts of 1897, entitled "An act to provide for the construction and maintenance of drains and the assessment and collection of taxes therefor and to repeal all other laws relative thereto," same being sections 4934 and 4935 of the Compiled Laws of 1915,
