The fourteenth is all that part of the city lying within Third avenue, East Fourteenth street, East river, East Eleventh street, Avenue B, Seventh street, Avenue A and Eighth street (or St. Mark's place).

The fifteenth is all that part of the city lying within Seventh avenue, West Fortieth street, North river, West Twenty-sixth street, Ninth avenue, West Thirty-second street, Eighth avenue and West Twenty-ninth street.

The sixteenth is all that part of the city lying within East Fourteenth street, East river, East Twenty-sixth street and Third avenue.

The seventeenth is all that part of the city lying within Seventh avenue, West Fifty-second street, North river and West Fortieth street.

The eighteenth is all that part of the city lying within Lexington avenue, East Twenty-third street, Third avenue, East Twenty-sixth street, East river and East Forty-second street.

The nineteenth is all that part of the city lying within West Fifty-second street, Seventh avenue, West Fiftyninth street, Eighth avenue, West One Hundred and Tenth street, Seventh avenue, Harlem river, Spuyten Duyvil creek and North river.

The twentieth is all that part of the city lying within Lexington avenue, East Forty-second street, East river and Fifty-ninth street, including Blackwell's island.

The twenty-first is all that part of the city lying within East and West Fortieth street, Lexington avenue, East Eighty-sixth street, Transverse road across the Central park, Eighth avenue, West Fifty-ninth street and Seventh avenue.

The twenty-second is all that part of the city lying within East Fifty-ninth street, East river, East Ninetyfirst street, Fifth avenue, East Eighty-sixth street and Lexington avenue.

The twenty-third is all that part of the city lying within East Ninety-first street, Fifth avenue, West One Hundred and Tenth street, Seventh avenue, Harlem river and East river, including Randall's and Ward's islands, and that part of the Central park lying north of the Transverse road, crossing the same at or about Eightysixth street.

The twenty-fourth is all that part of the city lying north and east of Harlem river and Spuyten Duyvil creek, and known as the twenty-third and twenty-fourth wards of the city of New York.

Niagara county has two districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Wheatfield, Pendleton, Lockport, Royalton, Cambria, and the first, second, third and fourth wards of the city of Lockport.

The second is the towns of Hartland, Somerset, Newfane, Wilson, Lewiston, Porter and Niagara.

Oneida county has three districts, viz.: The first is the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth wards of the city of Utica, and towns of New Hartford, Paris and Bridgewater.

The second is the towns of Sangerfield, Marshall, Augusta, Vernon, Kirkland, Westmoreland, Whitestown, Verona and Rome.

The third is the towns of Vienna, Camden, Florence, Ava, Western, Steuben, Floyd, Remsen, Boonville, Deerfield, Lee, Annsville, Trenton, Marcy, Forestport, and first and second wards of town and city of Utica.

Onondaga county has three districts, viz.: The first is the first, third and fourth wards of the city of Syracuse, and the towns of Geddes, Camillus, Van Buren, Lysander, Clay and Cicero.

The second is the fifth and sixth wards of the city of Syracuse, and the towns of Onondaga, La Fayette, Tully, Spafford, Otisco, Marcellus, Skaneateles and Elbridge.

The third is the second, seventh and eighth wards of the city of Syracuse, and the towns of Salina, DeWitt, Manlius, Pompey and Fabius.

Ontario county is one district.

Orange county has two districts, viz.: The first is the

town of Newburgh, city of Newburgh, and towns of New Windsor, Cornwall, Highlands, Monroe, Blooming Grove and Montgomery.

The second is the towns of Mount Hope, Deerpark, Greenville, Minisink, Wawayanda, Wallkill, Crawford, Hamptonburgh, Goshen, Warwick and Chester.

Orleans county is one district.

Oswego county has two districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Oswego, Scriba, Hannibal, Granby, Volney, New Haven, and the city of Oswego.

The second is the towns of Constantia, Hastings, Palermo, Schrocppel, West Monroe, Albion, Amboy, Boylston, Mexico, Orwell, Parish, Redfield, Richland, Sandy Creek and Williamstown.

Otsego county has two districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Plainfield, Richfield, Exeter, Otsego, Springfield, Cherry Valley, Middlefield, Roseboom, Decatur, Westford, Worcester and Maryland.

The second is the towns of Unadilla, Butternuts, Otego, Oneonta, Morris, Laurens, Edmeston, Burlington, Hartwick, Milford, Pittsfield and New Lisbon.

Putnam county is one district.

Queens county has two districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Oyster Bay, North Hempstead and Flushing. The second is the towns of Hempstead, Jamaica, Newtown and Long Island City.

Rensselaer county has three districts, viz.: The first is the first, second, third, fourth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh wards of the city of Troy.

The second is the towns of Brunswick, Grafton, Hoosick, Lansingburgh, Petersburgh, Pittstown, Schaghticoke and fifth and thirteenth wards of the city of Troy.

The third is the towns of Sandlake, Poestenkill, Nassau, Greenbush, North Greenbush, Stephentown, Schodack, East Greenbush, Berlin and sixth and twelfth wards of the city of Troy.

Richmond county is one district.
Rockland county is one district.

St. Lawrence county has three districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Morristown, De Peyster, De Kalb, Ham

mond, Gouverneur, Rossie, Macomb, Oswegatchie, Fowler, Pitcairn, Fine and city of Ogdensburgh.

The second is the towns of Lisbon, Madrid, Waddington, Norfolk, Canton, Russell, Hermon, Edwards, Pierrepont, Clifton and Colton.

The third is the towns of Brasher, Massena, Potsdam, Parishville, Stockholm, Lawrence, Louisville and Hopkinton.

Saratoga county has two districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Ballston, Charlton, Clifton Park, Galway, Halfmoon, Malta, Milton, Stillwater, Waterford and Providence.

The second is the towns of Corinth, Day, Edinburgh, Greenfield, Hadley, Moreau, Northumberland, Saratoga, Saratoga Springs and Wilton.

Schenectady county is one district.
Schoharie county is one district.
Schuyler county is one district.

Seneca county is one district.

Steuben county has two districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Avoca, Bath, Bradford, Cohocton, Prattsburgh, Poultney, Urbana, Wayne, Wheeler, Dansville, Fremont, Howard, Wayland, Campbell and Thurston.

The second is the towns of Addison, Caton, Cameron, Corning, Erwin, Hornby, Lindley, Rathbone, Tuscarora, Woodhull, Canisteo, Greenwood, Hartsville, Hornellsville, Jasper, Troupsburgh and West Union.

Suffolk county is one district.
Sullivan county is one district.

Tioga county is one district.

Tompkins county is one district.

Ulster county has three districts, viz.:

The first is the

towns of Saugerties, Hurley, Woodstock, town of Kingston, first, second, third, fourth and ninth wards, city of Kingston.

The second is the towns of Esopus, Marlborough, Lloyd, Plattekill, Rosendale, Marbletown and fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth wards of the city of Kings

ton.

The third is the towns of Wawarsing, Shandaken,

Rochester, Denning, Olive, Hardenburgh, Shawangunk,
Gardiner and New Paltz.

Warren county is one district.

Washington county has two districts, viz.:

The first is

the towns of Argyle, Cambridge, Easton, Fort Edward, Greenwich, Jackson, Salem and White Creek.

The second is the towns of Dresden, Fort Ann, Granville, Hampton, Hartford, Hebron, Kingsbury, Putnam and Whitehall.

Wayne county has two districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Butler, Galen, Huron, Rose, Sodus, Savannah, Wolcott and Williamson.

The second is the towns of Arcadia, Macedon, Marion, Ontario, Palmyra, Walworth and Lyons.

Westchester county has three districts, viz.: The first is the towns of Greenburgh, Mt. Pleasant and city of Yonkers.

The second is the towns of Harrison, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, North Castle, Pelham, Rye, Scarsdale, White Plains, East Chester and Westchester.

The third is the towns of Cortlandt, Lewisboro, New
Castle, North Salem, Ossining, Somers, Yorktown,
Poundridge and Bedford.

Wyoming county is one district.
Yates county is one district.

Court of appeals, how formed.

SEC. 27. There shall be a court of appeals composed of a chief judge and six associate judges, who shall be chosen by the electors of the State, and shall hold their office for the term of fourteen years from and including the first day of January next after their election. At the first election of judge under this constitution, every elector may vote for the chief and only four of the associate judges. Any five members of the court shall form a quorum, and the concurrence of four shall be necessary to a decision. The court shall have the appointment, with the power of removal, of its reporter and clerk, and of such attendants as may be necessary. § 2, art. 6, State Constitution.
