CHAPTER 1.

APPROPRIATION-LEGISLATIVE--EXPENSES.

AN ACT making an appropriation for the payment of the mileage and per diem

of the members and contingent expenses of the Fifth Legislature, and declar.

ing an emergency. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oklahoma:

Contingent Fund-Per Diem.

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Treasury of the State of Oklahoma, not otherwise appropriated, to pay the per diem and mileage of the members and the contingent expenses of the regular session of the Fifth Legislature, the sum of fifty-five thousand ($55,000.00) dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

Emergency.

Section 2. For the preservation of the public peace and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.

CHAPTER 2.

APPROPRIATION-EMPLOYES OF LEGISLATURE.

AN ACT making an appropriation for the payment of the salaries of the officers

and employees of the House of Representatives of the Fifth Legislature, and

declaring an emergency. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oklahoma: Salaries of Legislative Employes.

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Treasury of the State of Oklahoma, not otherwise appropriated, to pay the salaries of the officers and employees of the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Fifth Legislature, the sum of twenty-five thousand ($25,000.00) dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

Emergency.

Section 2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist by reason whereof it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety that this act take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.

CHAPTER 3.

APPROPRIATION-SOUTHEASTERN STATE NORMAL.

AN ACT making an appropriation to recover and repair the Southeastern State

Normal building, located at Durant, Oklahoma, and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oklahoma:

Appropriation-Repairs.

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriate the sum of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to recover, repair, and to equip with extra radiation the Southeastern State Normal building located at Durant, Oklahoma. Emergency.

Section 2. For the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.

CHAPTER 4.

WARRANTS-RECORDS OF PAYMENT/CANCELLATION

STATE TREASURER.
AN ACT amending section 8139 (chapter 75, article X), of the Revised Laws of

Oklahoma, 1910, and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oklahoma:
Payment of State Warrants—Duties of State Treasurer.

Section 1. That section 8139 (chapter 75, Article X) of the Revised Laws of Oklahoma 1910, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
