Some of the friends of the late Rev. M. TowGOOD having signified to me that his Tracts collected in one volume would be acceptable, more particularly to the admirers of that excellent man and able writer, I determined on the present publication. Several of the tracts have been long out of print, and are become exceeding scarce. There are one or two single sermons printed many years since, which being merely of a local nature, are omitted.

Throughout this collection will be found the same sound learning, accurate information, fair statement, manly reasoning, forcible argument, and devotional spirit which so eminently distintinguish the DISSENT FROM THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND FULLY JUSTIFIED-a work which has passed through many editions in this country, and in America.

Harlow, March 25, 1810.
