Dec. 22. George Armstrong, fireman, fell on the track in consequence of engine breaking loose from tender; hip and spine injured.

Jan. 12.

Purdy, baggage master, badly bruised by mail train running off track, in consequence of broken rail, one mile south of Ralston.

April 26. Milton Pettingill, engineer, had arm broken and back badly injured by engine mounting rail near Columbia Cross Roads; died from injuries received.

Ang. 3. Susan Boston jumped off train while in motion near Roaring Branch; had arm broken and toes on one foot partially cut off.

On the 17th of March, 1865, this road was visited by a severe flood, destroying very badly twenty-five miles of road between Williamsport and Ralston, Pa.

Of twenty-six large bridges on this road, twenty-five were entirely renewed in 1865.

The road is in good order at this time.
