be past, and the last enemy destroyed; through Thy mercy, Who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.

O GOD, Who hast prepared for them that love Thee such good things as pass man's understanding, pour into our hearts such love to Thee, that we, loving Thee above all things, may obtain Thy promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ALMIGHTY GOD, Who seest that we have no power of ourselves to help ourselves, keep us both outwardly in our bodies, and inwardly in our souls, that we may be defended from all adversities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may assault and hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

THE grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, be with us all evermore. Amen.

PSALM CXXV.

HEY that put their trust in the Lord shall be even as the mount Sion, which may not be removed, but standeth fast for ever.

The hills stand about Jerusalem; even so standeth the Lord round about his people, from this time forth for ever

more.

For the rod of the ungodly cometh not into the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put their hand unto wickedness. Do well, O Lord, unto those that are good and true of heart.

As for such as turn back unto their own wickedness, the Lord shall lead them forth with the evil-doers; but peace shall be upon Israel.

Let us pray.

O LORD, we beseech Thee, mercifully hear our prayers, and spare all those who confess their sins unto Thee; that they whose consciences by sin are accused by Thy merciful pardon may be absolved; through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

O LORD GOD, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, let Thy loving Presence, we pray Thee, go with us through this day. For the coldness or harshness that may be shewn us by others, may we ever feel our heavenly Father's tenderness an abundant compensation. Under the beams of

Thy infinite love, may our own hearts never remain cold. Overtaken in a fault, or haply straying from Thy fold, let it be enough for us to hear the kind Shepherd's voice, and return to Him. Resting on Thy gracious promise never to leave or forsake Thy own, may we with our whole hearts love Thee Who hast so loved us, and manifest our love in all we do this day; through the help of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our Lord. Amen.

O GOD, the Strength of all them that put their trust in Thee, mercifully accept our prayers; and because through the weakness of our mortal nature we can do no good thing without Thee, grant us the help of Thy grace, that in keeping of Thy commandments we may please Thee both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

PREVENT US, O Lord, in all our doings with Thy most gracious favour, and further us with Thy continual help; that in all our works, begun, continued, and ended in Thee, we may glorify Thy holy Name, and finally, by Thy mercy, may obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

OUR FATHER which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses; As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

PSALM CXXI.

WILL lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh even from the Lord, who hath made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; and he that keepeth thee will not sleep.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord himself is thy keeper; the Lord is thy defence upon thy right hand;

So that the sun shall not burn thee by day; neither the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil; yea, it is even he that shall keep thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out, and thy coming in, from this time forth for evermore.

Let us pray.

Lord have mercy upon us.

Christ have mercy upon us.

Lord have mercy upon us.

OUR FATHER which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses; As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver

us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

GRANT, we beseech Thee, merciful Lord, to Thy faithful people pardon and peace: that they may be cleansed from all their sins, and serve Thee with a quiet mind; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ALMIGHTY GOD and merciful Father, remember us, we pray Thee, with the favour that Thou bearest unto Thy people. O visit us with Thy salvation; that we may see the good of Thy chosen, and rejoice in the gladness of Thy people, and give thanks with Thine inheritance. Above all other joys, may we set the joy of Thy salvation; and in all our troubles may we put our whole trust and confidence in Thy mercy. Cause us to hear Thy loving-kindness every morning; and may we seek our rest each evening, happy in knowing that Thou, O Lord, art near us. Help us to prize Thy favour as our life's chief good; and when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death may Thy mercy hold us up, and Thy rod and staff comfort us. In Thy presence may we at length find the fulness of joy, and at Thy right hand pleasures for evermore; through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.

O LORD GOD, Who seest that we put not our trust in anything that we do, mercifully grant that by Thy power we may be defended against all adversity; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

THE grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, be with us all evermore. Amen.
