(e) On the resignation of Ch. J. Chase, he acted as Ch. J. during the June term 1824 on the western shore, under the 6th section of the act of 1805, ch. 65, and on the 27th of July 1824 he was commissioned Chief Judge. (d) Appointed on the 27th of July 1824 to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Ch. J. Chase, (e) Appointed the 39th of March 1824 to fill the vacancy occasioned by the death of Judge Ridgeig. (f) Appointed the 27th of July 1824 in the place of Ch. J. Chase, resigned.
