certain definite amount of work assigned for each Lesson. The Lessons have been constructed with a due regard to the exigencies of the other branches embraced in an ordinary school curriculum. The author recommends that each Lesson be gone over, in the first instance, for the purpose of illustrating the special point of which it treats; and, thereafter, as a revisal lesson up to the point to which it has carried the learner. In this manner the progress will be both steady and secure.
