movement of my being with an absolute dominion, that incorporated into Thee and Thou in me, every hurtful desire and affection may be quenched in me, and every virtue may be matured in me after Thy likeness. Amen.

For Communicants.

Before receiving the Paten.-I will take the Bread of heaven, and call upon the Name of the Lord. Lord, I am not worthy that Thou shouldest come under my roof; but speak the word only, and my soul shall be healed.

Before receiving the Chalice.-What reward shall I give unto the Lord for all the benefits that He hath done unto me? I will receive the cup of salvation, and will call upon the Name of the Lord.

After Communicating.-Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift! I have found Him Whom my soul loveth; I will hold Him, and not let Him go.

(The Nunc Dimittis and the Te Deum may be added.)

After the Blessing.

Almighty and everlasting God, the Preserver of souls, and the Redeemer of the world; graciously behold me Thy servant, who humble myself before Thy Divine Majesty. Accept this sacrifice, which to the honour of Thy Name we have offered for the faithful living and departed, and for all our sins and offences. Take away Thine anger from us: open unto us the gates of Paradise ; deliver us by Thy power from all evils, and what

ever faults and failings have taken hold upon us during this holy service, do Thou forgive. And grant that we may so persevere in Thy precepts unto the end, that we may be made worthy to be joined to the company of Thine elect, by Thy power, O my God, Whose blessed Name, honour, and dominion, endureth for ever and ever. Amen.

The Anima Christi.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.

Body of Christ, save me.

Blood of Christ, transport me.

Water from the side of Christ, cleanse me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.

O Good Jesu! hear me.

Hide me within Thy wounds.

Suffer me not to be separated from Thee.
From the malicious enemy defend me.
In the hour of my death, call me

And bid me come to Thee.

That with Thy Saints I may praise Thee
For ever and ever. Amen.
