GENERAL LAWS.

AN ACT

Making partial appropriations for the year 1867.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That there be and is hereby appropriated, Appropria from any money in the treasury belonging to the general tions forrevenue, for the purposes hereinafter named, the following

sums:

For provisions and necessary current expenses of the blind Blind and asylum, five thousand dollars, and for the payment of the salaries of officers, three thousand dollars.

For provisions and necessary current expenses of the asylum for idiots, five thousand dollars.

For the payment of the contingent expenses of the different officers and departments of the state government, to be audited by the state auditor, and paid in conformity to law, two thousand dollars.

For the payment of the lieutenant governor, members of the general assembly, their clerks and assistants, sergeantsat-arms and their assistants, and messengers, under laws and resolutions of the senate and house, forty thousand dollars. To pay the current expenses of the penitentiary, twenty Penitentiary. thousand dollars.

To pay the guards or assistant keepers at the penitentiary, three thousand dollars.

For the payment of the costs of prosecution and transportation of convicts to the Ohio penitentiary, ten thousand dollars.

For state printing, twenty thousand dollars.
For binding, fifteen thousand dollars.

To pay expenses of the distribution of the laws and journals of the state, one thousand dollars.

To pay the mileage of county treasurers in settling with the auditor of state, three thousand seven hundred dollars.

To pay salaries of clerks of bureau of soldiers' claims, two thousand dollars.
