Interesting reading, only because I happened to find a very old spool of copper wire wound on a metal spool, on which was embossed the name WILBUR B DRIVER CO NEWARK N J SPOOL # 1..... looks very much like something I probably acquired during the 1940s when, as a teen ager I was building crystal sets as a hobby and had several spools of wires..
