The book is blurry and impossible to read in parts, zooming all the way in does not rectify the problem sufficiently. Also, only partial volumes are available at the time of this writing. There is a 10 volume set by the same name, more complete and produced at the turn of the century but has not been scanned in.
I personally own two set of the 10 volume set and it is a fantastic store of information that was available at the turn of the century. Its a substantive snap shot of what was known to that date. Very interesting to see how words changed meaning (e.g. "stereotype", had to do with a printing press back then).
NOTE: When clicking the "View plain text" it looses its formatting making it almost impossible to read.
