AN ACT to make appropriations for the state treasury department for the fiscal years ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-six, and June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-seven, for maintenance and operation.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the general fund for the state treasury department for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-six, the sum of forty-three thousand two hundred dollars, and for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-seven, the sum of forty-three thousand two hundred dollars, for the purposes and in the specific amounts as follows:

Each of said amounts shall be used solely for the specific purposes herein stated.

SEC. 2. The amounts hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the state treasury at such times and in such manner as is or may be provided by law.

SEC. 3. All fees or other moneys received by said state treasury department shall be forwarded to the state treasurer each month and shall be by said treasurer deposited in the state treasury to be disbursed in such manner and for such purposes as may be provided by law.

This act is ordered to take immediate effect.

AN ACT to make appropriations for the Michigan state board of examiners for registration of architects, engineers and surveyors, for the fiscal years ending June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-six, and June thirty, nineteen hundred twenty-seven, for maintenance and operation.

The People of the State of Michigan enact: SECTION 1. Each of said amounts shall be used solely for the specific purposes herein stated, subject to the general supervisory control of the state administrative board: Provided, That in Proviso. no case shall the expenditures of said board exceed the fees collected by it.

SEC. 3. AN ACT to prohibit and punish the obtaining of any money or other thing of value from any coin box, depository box or other receptacle wherein the same has been deposited or is contained.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

SECTION 1. Whenever any person over the age of seventeen years, by day or night, maliciously and wrongfully, by and with the aid and use of any key, instrument, device or explosive, blows or attempts to blow, or forces or attempts to force an entrance into any coin box, depository box or other receptacle established and maintained for the convenience of the public, or of any person or persons, in making payment for any article of merchandise or service, wherein is contained any money or thing of value, or extracts or obtains, or attempts to extract or obtain therefrom any such money or thing of value so deposited or contained therein, shall upon conviction of a first offense be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred twenty-five dollars nor more than three hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail or the Detroit house of correction for not less than thirty days nor more than six months or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.

SEC. 2. If any person shall be convicted of a subsequent offense under this act, such person shall be deemed guilty of a felony, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the state prison not to exceed one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.

SEC. 3. This act shall not be construed to repeal, by implication or otherwise, any existing law in relation to any of the subject matter hereof.

AN ACT to amend the title of act number one hundred five of the public acts of nineteen hundred nineteen, entitled "An act to provide for the extension of the life of partnership associations limited, organized under the laws of this state whose term of existence would otherwise expire, and to fix the rights, duties and liabilities of such partnership associations limited," and to add a new section to said act to stand as section three.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

The title of act number one hundred five of the Title public acts of nineteen hundred nineteen, entitled "An act to provide for the extension of the life of partnership associations limited, organized under the laws of this state whose term of existence would otherwise expire, and to fix the rights, duties and liabilities of such partnership associations limited," is hereby amended and a new section is hereby Section added to said act, said section to stand as section three; said title and said new section to read as follows:

An Act to provide for the extension of the life of partnership associations limited, organized under the laws of this state, whose term of existence would otherwise expire or has already expired and to fix the rights, duties and liabilities of such partnership associations limited.

SEC. 3. Extension after expiration of term. Any such Extension partnership association limited whose term has expired but of term. which has not been wound up or dissolved and which has nevertheless, inadvertently continued its active business beyond such term, may with the consent of at least four-fifths of its capital stock renew its existence for such further term not exceeding twenty years from the expiration of its former term in the same manner as is provided in sections one and two of this act in relation to a partnership association limited, whose term is about to expire and it shall be the duty of the officers and directors de facto, to do and perform all things required of such officers and directors de jure as provided in said sections one and two in relation to calling a special meeting of the stockholders and members of such partnership association limited and submitting the question to them of renewing its existence and the filing of renewing articles, but no such partnership association limited de facto shall be permitted to renew its existence unless such action is taken within three years next after its term has expired, and such renewal shall in nowise relieve such partnership association limited from any penalties that may have accrued against it under any law of this state but such renewal shall

entitle the partnership association to all the rights, privileges, immunities and powers conferred upon partnership associations limited, renewing their existence before or at the expiration of their terms.
