The son, Thomas, was the progenitor of the Coopers in America. He was baptized 29 January 1603. He left from the port of Ipswich, Suffolk, England on 16 June 1638 with his wife (Rachel), two children, and two servants. They disembarked at the port of Boston. Thomas and family settled in Seekonk (later, Rehoboth), Massachusetts. After Rachel died, Thomas married the widow Ann Bosworth 17 August 1656. They didn't have any children. Thomas was buried at Rehoboth 17 March 1690. |
