Arte joven: 40 años, 1967-2007

The catalogue is a panoramic examination of the evolution of contemporary art in the country for the last half of century trough a review of the winners since the National Competition of Plastic Art Students started in 1966. In 1981 the competition become the National Meeting of Young Art, an art juried event that has discovered and promoted a younger generation of now consolidated artists that includes names like: Rafael Villar, Enrique Guzmán, brothers Francisco, Miguel and José Castro Leñero, Arturo Elizondo, Sergio Hernández, Irma Palacios and many others.
