Department of Agriculture to divert our surplus coffee to continental United States markets, as has been done during the last 2 years.
To attend at Indianapolis, Ind., the annual convention of the Veterinary Medical Association, to visit the Universities of Pennsylvania and Cornell, and Washington, D. C., to study and discuss with the officials of these institutions the new vaccine, strain 19, against Bang's disease.
To attend the national convention of the Association of Railroad and Utilities Commissioners to be held at St. Paul, Minn., from Aug. 26 to 29. To attend matters in relation to the Institute of Tourism and others in connection with our maritime trans- portation facilities. To represent the department of health at the convention of the American Hospital Association in Atlantic City from Sept. 15 to 19, 1941.
To attend the 1941 retraining school which will be held by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Depart- ment of Justice, at Washington, D. C., from Oct. 6 to 20.

To visit certain health departments in the States to study filing system in order to reorganize the present system of the demonstration unit.
For the purpose of paying all necessary expenses in connection with your trip to continental United States by plane today, to expedite the approval of food crops planting program, to investigate shipping situation as regards Puerto Rico and to attempt relief for gasoline shortage.
To expedite approval of cargo space control plan and to devise ways and means to obtain cargo space. etc. To participate in the Third National Conference of State Supervisors to be held at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., from July 27 to Aug. 8, and in individual conferences with officials in Washington prior to the conference.

To interview officials of the Office of Economic Stabilization and National War Labor Board in relation with the proposed reconsideration of order No. 8, exempting Puerto Rico from the wage-freezing provisions of the Antiinflation Act. To confer with Federal authorities relative to amelioration of conditions brought about by the war. To discuss with Federal authorities the matter relative to negotiations for the sale of the sugar crop for 1943 and to make contact with prospective sellers of boats of boats in connection with the fishing industry. To obtain fertilizer for the sugar crop and try to find a solution to the molasses problem. To attend the National Child Welfare and Rehabilitation Conferences to be held at Philadelphia on Jan. 8 and 9, 1943.
