The Quarterback Club

Miles was so trustworthy everyone dumped secrets on him, so many secrets he should have made a list. There were two secrets he wished he could forget. One began as a liquor sampling with the sex-starved wife of a pillar of the Quarterback Club, a man who openly praised Miles' honesty and integrity. When the wife pursued the relationship, Miles became paranoid that her husband would find out. His other mistake was mentioning the Church Fund to the wrong person. Miles learned how far the Las Vegas boys would go to protect their secret investment. The Quarterback Club directors often enlisted Miles' aid in resolving delicate tasks, and now they asked him to tackle the most crucial crisis the Club had ever faced, one that could ruin its reputation, perhaps destroy it. A prominent woman had petitioned to become a member of the elite all-male Club.
