One day's legal catch of fish may be taken or shipped out of state by licensed non-resident fisherman. Coupon from license must be attached to package. Trout may be transported only as open hand baggage.

MISCELLANEOUS.

TRANSPORTATION OF PROTECTED GAME, EXCEPT DEER. Unlawful to ship by express, freight or baggage or in any other manner, but shall be carried only as open hand baggage without cover in such manner as to be readily seen and inspected. Unlawful to ship outside the state at any time, provided that NON-RESIDENT HUNTERS may carry outside the state as open hand baggage without cover, one day's legal bag limit of birds.

THIRTY DAYS AFTER SEASON CLOSES. Lawful to have in possession game birds and animals, legally killed.

HUNTER'S LICENSE.

RESIDENTS. Resident citizens hunting any kind of animals or birds found in this state, other than deer and beaver, must procure a license; fee $1.00. Citizens hunting on their own enclosed lands upon which they are regularly domiciled and their minor children, exempt. Deer hunting license fee, $2.50.

NON-RESIDENTS. License fee to hunt and kill any kind of birds or animals found in this state, other than deer and beaver, $10.00. Deer hunting license $50.00.

PERMIT TO KILL ONE DEER FOR CAMP PURPOSES. Hunting parties of not less than four persons holding deer licenses and camping together may secure permit to kill one male deer for use in camp. Fee $3.00.

NON-RESIDENT ANGLER'S LICENSE. Non-residents over eighteen years are required to procure a license to fish. Fee for license to take all kinds of fish except brook trout, $2.00. Fee for license to take all kinds of fish, including brook trout, $4.00.

NON-GAME BIRDS. Unlawful to kill at any time. This includes all kinds of song and insectivorous birds and other birds not designated as game birds excepting English sparrows, crows, blackbirds, Cooper's hawks, sharp shinned hawks, great horned owls.

SHIPMENT BY NON-RESIDENT. One day's legal catch of fish may be taken or shipped out of the state by a licensed fisherman. Coupon from license must be attached to package. Trout may be transported only as open hand baggage.

SALE OF PROTECTED GAME. Unlawful to buy or sell at any time.

SNARES, DEADFALLS and EXPLOSIVES. Unlawful to use.

POSTED ENCLOSED LANDS, PUBLIC PARKS, GAME PRESERVES, GAME REFUGES. Unlawful to hunt thereon at any time.

PEARLS, CLAMS and MOLLUSKS. Unlawful to take without license. Resident $1.00; non-resident, $50.00. Open season from July 1st to March 31st. TURTLES. Not protected. No device can be used to take turtles which will take fish.

PRIVATE GAME, FARMS and GAME and FUR-BEARING ANIMALS RAISED IN CAPTIVITY. Any game or fur-bearing animals taken during the open

season may be held in captivity during the closed season for the purpose of propagation, by securing permit to do so from the department of conservation. Permit fee, $5.00.

MOOSE, ELK and CARIBOU. Unlawful to kill at any time.

SUNRISE and SUNSET. It is unlawful to take or kill any wild water fowl from sunset until one-half hour before sunrise the following morning. This conforms with federal law.

Unlawful to shoot ducks on Wild Fowl Bay after 4 p. m. central standard time.

PUBLIC LAKES. Any lake connected with any public waters by any means whatever by which fish can migrate to and from such waters for any length of time during any season of the year is a public lake.-See People vs. Horling, 137 Michigan 406.

PRIVATE LAKES. Lakes which are not connected with any public waters in any manner by which fish can migrate to and from such waters during any season of the year for any length of time.-137 Michigan 406.

UNLAWFUL TO HUNT upon the enclosed lands of another person without consent of owner or lessee.

MOTOR BOATS. Unlawful to hunt water fowl upon any floating device propelled by steam, gas, gasoline or naphtha; but this provision does not prohibit fishing from motor boats.

TRAPPING. A hunting license also permits the holder to trap for fur-bearing animals, except beaver.

MINOR CHILDREN under seventeen years of age may hunt or trap on the enclosed lands of their parents upon which they live. Those under seventeen years and over twelve years may secure a license to otherwise hunt or trap on application and oath of their parent or legal guardian, and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or someone authorized by them, while hunting or trapping.

AUTOMOBILES may be used to transfer hunters to and from hunting grounds, but must not be used in any manner that could be construed to be an act of hunting. Unlawful to have loaded firearms in automobile.
