At first meuger from necessity, they grow in size and value as later volumes are reached.
For reprint copy, the reporters' own editions are used, without change, except to correct

in thiz huk, the old spelling and punctuation are preserved, nothing being changed situply *ir being in archaism. This plan, for lack of settled usage at the time, is found to be impracticable and herefore in these matters they will follow modern usage in all subsequent books.
