THE

TELEGRAPH OF THE GOSPEL,

BY

J. R. BALME,

AUTHOR OF THE LEVER, MIRROR, AND TELESCOPE
OF THE GOSPEL, ETC.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come; and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.-REV. xiv, 6 and 7.

PREFACE.

The AUTHOR takes this opportunity of thanking the religious public for the encouragement which they have given him in the Lever, Mirror, and Telescope of the Gospel; and as they have been instrumental in stirring up the minds of many to renewed effort in the cause of Christ, he has great pleasure in introducing to their notice "The Telegraph of the Gospel." His fervent prayer is that it may prove a blessing to multitudes. Thou divine messenger! go forth, and plead thine own cause; and may the Holy Spirit render effectual thy instructions, that Christianity may be sped in its course through our sin-disordered world. Amen.

Shaldon, South Devon,
