The following is a statement of the date of each accident, the place where it occurred, the train, the cause and extent of the injuries inflicted upon each person, and the name of such person. 1875. February 15. Adelbert Mould and Charles Wright, walking on track about one mile south of Watertown, were run over by a passenger train running north; Mould was instantly killed, and Wright severely injured. May 17. L. M. Douglass, brakeman, injured at Port Leyden in coupling cars. June 15. Winfield H. Bassouit, brakeman, slightly injured in coupling cars at Philadelphia. August 28. William Jones, brakeman, hand injured at Aldercreek. September 10. James Foley, in attempting to get on a passenger train moving south, at the crossing of the Rome, Watertown and Ogdensburgh Railroad at Watertown, fell between cars and was fatally injured, and died of his injuries September 13, 1875.
