AIDS-DE-CAMP.

AN ACT authorizing the Governor to appoint Aids-de-Camp.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa, That the Governor is hereby authorized to appoint four Aids-de-Camp, with the rark of Lieutenant Colonel of Cavalry.

SEC. 2. This Act being deemed by the General Assembly of immediate importance, shall take effect from and after its publication in the Daily State Register and Iowa Homestead, newspapers published at Des Moines.

Approved March 28th, 1864.

State Register April 16, A. D. 1864, and in the Iowa Homestead

CLAIM OF J. L. MASON.

AN ACT providing for auditing the account of J. L. Mason, of
Bentonsport, Iowa.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Iowa, That the Board of Commission- Audited. ers created by Chapter 10 of the Laws of the Extra Session of the Eighth General Assembly of the State of Iowa, be and they are hereby authorized and required to audit and allow the claim of J. L. Mason of Bentonsport, Van Buren County, for subsistence furnished troops by order of one Captain Farris, in the year 1861; provided the amount so allowed shall not exceed the sum of seventy-three dollars and fifty cents. Approved March 28th, 1864.
