PREFACE.

THIS "Key" to the Easy Exercises has been printed at the suggestion of several experienced teachers, who find that it would be useful to them, and save them time and labour in days in which the demands on the time and labour of teachers certainly do not diminish. I should be glad to think that I can in any way do this, or help, even though the "labor be "in tenui," Latin and Greek learning to flourish and be held in honour.
