To the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled:

The law requires the Commissioner of Patents to lay before Congress, in the month of January, annually, a report of all receipts and expenditures, a list of all patents granted, with name and subject-matter indexes, and a list of all patents extended during the preceding year, together with such other information of the condition of the Patent Office as may be useful to Congress or the public.

I submit the following report in compliance with this law:

disclaimers, appeals, and trade-marks
