House bill No. 199 (file No. 54), entitled

A bill to amend section 1 of Act No. 145 of the Public Acts of 1887, entitled “An Act to regulate the use of steam engines, steam wagons or other vehicles, which are in whole or in part operated by steam, on the public highways of this State, and to prohibit the blowing of steam

whistles upon the highways of this State," being section 5543 of the Compiled Laws of 1897, as amended by Act No. 217 of the Public Acts of 1899;

And have directed their chairman to report the same back to the Senate, with a substitute therefor, having the same title, asking concurrence therein, and recommending its passage.
