A bill to repeal section 2 of Act No. 37 of the Public Acts of 1899, entitled "An Act to provide for the salary of the State Game and Fish Warden and for the appointment of a chief Deputy Game and Fish Warden, and to prescribe his powers and duties;"

Which has passed the House by a majority vote of all the members elect, and in which the concurrence of the Senate is respectfully asked. Very respectfully,

A bill to amend sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19, and to repeal section 16 of Act No. 188 of the Public Acts of 1899, entitled “An Act to provide for the taxation of inheritances, transfers of property by will, transfers of property by the intestate laws of this State, or transfers of property by deed, grant, bargain, sale or gift made in contemplation of the death of the grantor, vendor or donor, or intended to take effect in possession or enjoyment at or after such death;"

Sir—I am instructed by the House to retransmit the following bill:
House bill No. 33 (file No. 61), entitled

A bill relating to plumbing and drainage, and providing for the inspection thereof and for the examination, regulation, licensing and registration of plumbers and for the punishment of offenders against this Act;

Together with the Senate substitute therefor, having the same title; And now to inform the Senate that the House has amended the substitute as follows:

By inserting the following section:

Sec. 15. This Act shall not apply to cities containing less than 15,000 inhabitants;

In the adoption of which substitute, as thus amended, the House by a majority vote of all the members elect has concurred, and in which the concurrence of the Senate is respectfully asked.

The President announced that the hour had arrived for the special order and laid before the Senate

House bill No. 183 (file No. 333), entitled

A bill to apportion anew the Representatives in the State Legislature among the several counties and districts of this State.

Mr. Murfin moved that the Senate resolve itself into the committee of the whole on the special order.

The motion prevailed.

The President called Mr. Robson to the chair.

After some time spent therein the committee rose and, through their chairman, made the following report:

The committee of the whole have had under consideration the above named bill, have made sundry amendments thereto, and have directed

their chairman to report the same back to the Senate, asking concurrence therein, and recommend its passage.

The report was accepted.

Mr. Palmer moved that the Senate concur in the amendments made to the bill named in the report.

Mr. Kelly demanded the yeas and nays.

A bill to repeal Act No. 29 of the Public Acts of 1887, entitled "An Act to provide for the payment of bounties for the killing of English sparrows," approved March 15, 1887, the same being continuous sections 5586, 5587, 5588 and 5589 of the Compiled Laws of 1897;

Respectfully report that they have had the same under consideration, and have directed me to report the same back to the Senate without amendment and recommend that it do pass, and ask to be discharged from the further consideration of the subject.
