The Committee on Executive Business, to whom was referred the following nomination to office by the Governor:

Scott Griswold, of Grand Rapids, Kent county, as Commissioner of Labor, for the term of two years from and after the first day of March. 1901;

Respectfully report that they have had the same under consideration, and have directed me to report the same back to the Senate, with the recommendation that the Senate advise and consent to the said nomination to office.
