Mr. Young moved that the Senate resolve itself into Committee of the Whole for consideration of the general orders. The motion prevailed and the President designated Mr. Young as chairman. After some time spent therein the committee rose; and, the President having resumed the chair, the committee, through its chairman, reported that the committee had had under consideration several bills and had come to no resolution thereon.
