Arms. Quarterly, Argent and Gules, on the second. and third quarters a fret Or, over all on a bend Sa. ble three escallop shells of the field; quartering Churchill, Sable, a lion rampant Argent, on a canton of the second a cross Gules.

Crest. Out of a ducal coronet Or a griffin's head Argent, gorged with a bar gemell Gules, between two wings erect of the second.

Supporters. On the dexter side, a griffin per fess Ermine and Erminois: on the sinister, a wyvern Ermine; each gorged with a collar fleury, counterfleury, and chained Sable, the collars charged with three escallop shells Or.

We have been induced to insert the following Pedigree, not only as a compliment to the distinguished nobleman who holds & the situation of President of this highly respectable Association; p but likewise with a view of shewing how far the Art is capable of being carried in this department: having used the smallest & sized type in the execution of it, enables us to assert, that it is impossible for any printer to produce more in the same space, and we aoubt not but it will be generally considered as a Ty pographical curiosity: it is also necessary for us to observe, that although we have gone into this extreme, gentlemen must not expect that such productions can be produced in the gene-. ral routine of business, for we firmly believe that there are very few compositors who would undertake the task, however well they might be paid; and should such be found, the expense must of necessity be very great indeed.
